Group Financial Administrator – Full-Time

Position: Group Financial Administrator
Location: Kilkeel, Co. Down
Working Hours: 30-37.25 hours per week (to be confirmed with the successful applicant)
Salary: £13.50-14.50 per hour (to be confirmed with the successful applicant)
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer
We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Group Financial Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in payroll management, VAT returns, invoicing, and general bookkeeping. If you’re proactive, precise, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate financial records, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Payroll Management: Oversee and process payroll for the group, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit VAT returns (domestic and international) and manage accurate accounting for import VAT, ensuring full compliance with all regulations.
- Invoice Management: Generate, track, and manage client invoices to ensure timely payments.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role involving financial administration, bookkeeping, and payroll.
- Strong numerical skills and proficiency in handling financial data.
- Knowledge of accounting principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred:
- Strong knowledge of domestic VAT regulations.
- Familiarity with international VAT regulations, specifically within the EU.
- Further education in finance, accounting, or another related field.
- Experience in financial analysis and providing strategic insights into accounts.
